The reason it starts at Part II is that Part I is the final section of the book and changes your perception of everything and answers all the questions. There is a reason the head scientist acts the way he does and why he is convinced there is a signal to find. Of course he is dooming the human race, but that doesn&#039;t bother him because he isn&#039;t human anyway ... he is set on freeing his brothers. Which he does. Pity they lay waste to Earth in the process but there you go ...</description>
