The Line Between Genius and Insanity
Friday was my birthday! Of course, I don’t usually wait for my birthday to acquire books. I’ve been picking them up pretty much non-stop.
As usual, I start off with the electronic books. I believe that Tor’s new web site launches next week. With that, I suspect they will cease sending out a free electronic book every week. Which is a shame, even if I haven’t gotten to reading most of them yet. I will. (…)

Been a month since I threw one of these up. Which means I have a lot of books added on the pile.

I’m currently in the middle of The New Space Opera but I will be another couple of days before I finish it. It seems that I read short stories much slower than I do novels. The first few stories are confusing me, though I have liked a couple. In lieu of detailed thoughts for the Sunday Salon, I will post up my newly acquired books since the last Piling On.
I’ve actually been pretty good. I have only acquired three physical books. (…)

I started blogging my books so I could remember what I’d read. I’m also finding it hard to remember when and where I’ve acquired my reading material as well. It’s not quite as important, but there are occasions when knowing would be helpful. So this is the first of periodic updates on additions to my To Be Read pile, the size of which I’ve lost count of again, but it’s probably nearing 400. (…)
