Book Giveaways and Contests

Some of these contests have prizes other than books to give away. For the most part, I leave off listing the other prizes. I’m a book guy.

General Books (i.e. I don’t know what book is actually the prize)
General Fiction
Thrillers
Historical Fiction
  • Three copies of Traci Slatton’s Immortal from The Literate Housewife Review, deadline 8 August. The blog is looking for people to participate in their book club.
Mystery
Science Fiction, Fantasy, Etc.
  • Sci-Fi Online has a few giveaways. Winners must be U.K. or Ireland residents.
    • Six X-Files tie-in novels.
    • David Hughes’ The Greatest Sci Fi Movies Never Made (yes, another giveaway for this)
    • Barbara Erskine’s The Warrior’s Princess
Romance and Chick-Lit
Young Adult
Non-Fiction
Cookbooks, Etc.

If you know of other contests, giveaways or other sources of free books, leave a comment and I’ll include it in the next installment.

Thanks for the contest listing for MRS. LIEUTENANT.

Just a note to say that it is not a mystery — it’s actually women’s fiction (but NOT romance or chick lit either).

I guess from the title and synopsis that Amazon provides, which leads me astray at times. I do apologize.
