Free Books - 22 July 2008

KGB Raffle

Technically these aren’t free books since it costs money to enter, but the list of prizes is awesome. Plus, the money goes to support a small venue which does a fantastic monthly author reading. Or seems fantastic. I don’t live anywhere near, so I’ve never been. The list of a set of impressive authors who’ve read. Deadline on the raffle is 28 July.

  • One of Michael Swanwick’s story in a bottle. He writes a short story, by hand. He then sticks the only copy of the story in a bottle and seals it. You may open it and read, or keep it sealed as a one of a kind knick-knack.
  • Carol Emshwiller signed manuscript of The Abominable Child’s Tale.
  • Ray Bradbury limited edition worth $900
  • Signed hardcover of Tobias Buckell’s Crystal Rain.
  • A billion other prizes. Yes. A billion.
