The following people, organizations, and web sites have contributed in one way or the other to this blog.
- Joe Sherry of Adventures in Reading
- I stole the tag line
Books make me happy.
from Joe. Go read his blog. - Amazon.com
- The point of the book reviews is not to make money. But if I’m gonna link to Amazon anyway, I might as well get a commission. So all the blog is
in association with Amazon.com
as the linking agreement says I have to tell you. - Sandbox Theme
- The layout and overall look and feel comes from the Sondbox Theme from plaintxt.org. I don’t like lots and lots of graphics. I’ve modified it some, but not a whole lot.
- wpLicense WordPress plugin
- wpLicense is a plugin for WordPress which allows users to select a Creative Commons license for their blog and content. In addition to the administration interface, wpLicense provides three template functions which may be used to insert the license information into templates.
- Creative Commons
- I shouldn’t forget the great work that Creative Commons has done creating its licenses, one of which I use for this site. Because of their work, readers can easily appropriate my work for non-commercial purposes.
- Now Reading plugin
- The Now Reading entries on the home page come courtesy of Rob Miller’s Now Reading Wordpress plugin.
- Feed Styler plugin
- I use Feed Styler to add style to the HTML in my Atom feed. I love this plug-in, because now folks reading via Atom can see the entries the same as on the web site.
